The creation workshop

Discover the different jobs of our workshop based in la Séguinière (north-west of France)

The stylist

The stylist is the source of the trend and the collections inspirations. He captures the moods, the aspirations, the desires of the world around him to translate it into his clothing collection.
He also structures the clothes shapes, search for materials and associates it, works on colours.

The graphic artist

The job of a graphic artist is less known by the public, but is essential for the creativity and originality of the collection.
To give life to the sketches drawn by the stylists, the graphic artist proposes drawings.

The Pattern maker

Once the design is realised by the stylist and validated by the product manager, the designer realises the pattern.
The pattern maker creates the clothes. He pays really attention to the comfort. the pattern maker is one of the first link of the quality chain, assuring the shape and the comfort.

The confection

In the Maé Mahé teams, we count on the "little hands" of the workshop: the "prototype fitters". They enable the creation team to validate the product on its comfort and on its technical efficiency. They also allow the creation teams to oversee and control the product's quality, the womanly and the elegance of the cuts.

The purchasers

Once the models are created and patterned, the purchasers select the best suppliers, negotiate the prices. They control the raw materials quality and the production. They realise tests to check the products quality.

The product manager

He is the orchestrator of a collection. He is responsible for the brand identity.
He works in straight collaboration with all the other creation's actors.
He is also the link between the market needs and the sales representatives; in order to develop elegant and comfortable clothes, easy to wear in every occasion for you ladies.

According to Beatrice our product manager Maé Mahé:
the creation is not due to one person, but to the alchemy created by a group of people.
